Inspiration: Pops of Green

Look at these amazing flowers. The pops of green are so striking, and what a fun way to use mason jars! Very creative!

Real Wedding: Emily & Charlie

This DC bride did it right! Her wedding was stunning, location was perfect, and decor was beautiful ... I would have changed nothing!

Bridal Boot Camp 2010 Recap

I really wish you all could have been there, it was such a great event, that I am even looking forward to next year! The weather however did not cooperate. It was 1 degree for most of the day and loading and unloading was SO SO cold. I felt so bad for the brides who had to walk from building to building to each presentation. Other than that, I think once they iron out a few kinks, it's going to be great, and a lot more brides will benefit from it.

The Bridal Solution gave a total of 6 presentations ... ugh, I pretty much lost my voice once it was all said and done. I was in the Old Historic Building on Stephen's campus, and I actually had a room where my booth was all by itself, it was pretty ideal!

I had a lot of people tell me that they loved my enthusiasm, and they didn't' except to be talking to a wedding coordinator about their wedding. Major plus for me! I loved my booth, the brides loved my booth, and overall, it was a great investment! At the end of the day prizes were given away to the brides who stayed ... I am still trying to figure out who won the FREE day-of-coordination. We'll have to wait and see!

Hope to see all you 2011 brides there next year!

Wishing Tree

Get creative when deciding on a "guest book." The days of a book with one pen are long gone. Try something creative like a Wishing Tree. Leave directions for your guests to write a wish on a small card and hang them from the tree. For winter weddings, have them write them on an ornament and hang them from a small Christmas tree (you will have these for years to come.) For a more dramatic look, add light to the tree and let your guests be wowed!

Good Morning Mid-Missouri

I'm not sure how many of you will be up at 6:30 AM on Thursday morning, but an opportunity has come my way. My business, The Bridal Solution, will be on the early morning news this Thursday! I am extremely excited!! I will be talking about my business and the Bridal Boot Camp that is coming up on Saturday.

It's going to be great to get my business out there, but it's SO SO SO early in the morning. Not to mention, I have to drive 30 minute to get there at 6:00, but none the less, you should all tune in to see what I have to say! :) Not really quite sure what that will be yet, but I will think of something tomorrow!

If you can't tune in, you can always go to and click to view, but I will do my best to post a clip on the blog!
